Orientation for the first year students
The college organized orientation programme for all the first year students in the first week of reopening. All the divisions were called separately for the one hour programme The principal introduced the overall system of the degree college and introduced the semester pattern and the internal and external pattern of the examinations. She exhorted the students to use the facilities provided by the college and participate in maximum co curricular and extra curricular activities. They were also explained about the role of university of Mumbai in their graduation. The teachers teaching the different subjects were introduced to each batch of students . The librarian Neeta Gundawar and the library staff gave them an orientation programme about the library which is one of the biggest libraries in the university of Mumbai. Prof Neelam Kapoor , Convener career guidance and placement committee also explained the various opportunities open to the students and how they can hone their skills during their college life. The feedback taken from the students improved that the students immensely benefited from the orientation as it gave them a very good opportunity to learn about the system and how to spend their next three years in a productive manner.
